Task Management.

This is where I log tasks for this website and outside. It is built completely in IPS Pages and it is in a constant state of change as I try to mimic a Jira setup.

If you find a defect that you think should be fxed, or if you have ideason what I could build or write about next, then this is the right place for that.

Task Management

This is the task management system used for development, defects and ideas.
Time spent allow for counting down time.
Start with just a number field.
Use a form in the frontend to add or remove time from the issue and possibly a text field to just add logs on each update.
Adding this will allow the original estimate and Time spent to show remaining time. This can then be used to show estimations in different ways.

Add a basic Kanban view with columns for each status using the show all categories view? Add cards that are pinned (in sprint) Make it possible to drag and drop between columns and update status based on where the card is dropped Add the function to show the card on click as a popup like Trello.

A database for roles related to the different areas of the development process listed on this site. Each role is defined with information such as responsibilities, mandate and so on. The idea is to provide a useful overview of each role that you can use as template for your organization, or as guide to how you can get to that position.

Design and build a Customer Service Desk.
Only show the users tickets (can't see other tickets) Need statuses to see what the ticket is going through at the moment. Priority to see how urgent the ticket is Type of ticket (categories, maybe?) Assignee - who is handling the ticket Submitter - who submitted the ticket Allow guests to submit tickets How do we manage spam? The Task start page is just a list today and I want to change that to something a bit more useful.
I imagine a few information boxes leading to "how to work" and "How was this built" for example. Below that I want new issues in tabs to make the list of items more useful at a first glance. Defects and Ideas for example should have their own tabs and then probably a more generic one that show task in the "New" status.

Maybe it would make sense to add a design guide of some sort to the website? I already have the setup in Figma, so it would not be very hard to build a design guideline.... I think.
I am considering if I should build a completely new setup for this on a new domain, just to see what is possible using pages.
This would be a pretty big project however, so I'll let it marinate a bit first 😉
