The Portfolio Process is for the strategic work, financing and resource management. It starts with an idea and ends in a defined need. The Build Process is for the operational work related to IT Development. It starts with a defined need and ends in a released development feature. The Post Release Process is for support related to IT development. It starts with an Incident or Problem and ends in a released development feature.
